An Exciting New Addition to Our Services

Many seniors and their families do not immediately understand how beneficial the services of a professional geriatric care manager can be as they are forced to deal with new and frightening changes and challenges in their lives.  One barrier to getting help is fear of the cost of such a service - even though most of us know that quality service and professional experience end up saving us a great deal of time, trouble, and money in the long run.

AHL Services has grown over the years through the addition of the Daisy Lady program, wheel-chair transportation, and access to other professionals who help to round out our ability to meet the different and changing needs of our clients.

Now, in another addition to our services, and in order to maximize the hands-on attention it is our goal to provide, I am very pleased to announce that I will now be working with La’Keisha Phillips of Empower Care - a division of Care Connect.  La’Keisha will be joining me effective September 1, and she will gradually assume an increasing roll in direct client care and care management.

La’Keisha has a rich history in senior care services. Working since the late 1990’s for local hospitals and non-profit organizations, and specializing in mental health and co-morbid disorders, she can ensure that the best choices are presented and implemented for clients in their homes or in community living.  Throughout the transition process she will be your contact for care coordination, monitoring, and client advocacy.  I think you will find in her the same “Mary Poppins” traits I have always tried to exhibit.

I know you will want to speak directly with her at 562-335-9869 as she becomes more involved with your specific care needs.  Of course, I’m also just a phone call away.

Cordially,
